Stefanishina Resigns as Ambassador to the U.S., New Suspicion from NABU Expected

Ukrainian Ambassador to the U.S. Olga Stefanishina has submitted her resignation from diplomatic service due to personal circumstances. According to sources, NABU may announce new suspicions against her. Stefanishina requested to end her service last week. The President's Office expressed satisfaction with her work. Member of Parliament Oleksiy Honcharenko reported that Stefanishina attended a meeting between President Volodymyr Zelensky and Senator Lindsey Graham, as well as Congressman Michael McCaul. Journalist Yuriy Nikolov also confirmed information about the upcoming suspicion related to illegal income, which may involve real estate or a vehicle. Stefanishina began her role as ambassador in September 2025. Previously, she held positions as Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration and Minister of Justice. The investigation revealed corruption at ARMA linked to her ex-husband Mykhailo Stefanishyn. Stefanishina's departure coincides with a government reboot, where Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko will also leave her position.
